It’s a very well-thought-out program, and anybody who’s been warehousing or has been involved with warehousing in their careers will totally see the benefits of having CartonCloud or using CartonCloud.
My name is Jimmy Skodras, I’m the vice president of operations and logistics at Rockstar 3PL. We service two sectors of the hospitality industry here at Las Vegas: hospitality and the nightlight side. Dry goods, custom goods, manufactured goods, broad and locally, and we handle a lot of the transportation and production of beautiful set pieces that you see at all the fabulous events that they put on throughout the year.
We were using a WMS system that just was not with the times. It was very antiquated and we were looking for another solution. Something that was cloud-based, something that would eliminate paperwork overall.
You’re always gonna have concerns because of the previous nightmare situations you deal with. After figuring out how simple it was to use, it was such a breath of fresh air to actually just feel that we actually found a program that works for us.
Prior to that, I had looked at probably 5 or 6 other WMS systems that would work for our warehouse here. None of them really did what CartonCloud does for us today.
The implementation process lasted a few weeks, and the fabulous people at CartonCloud were just very hands-on with helping us understand the program first and then marrying it to our specific needs under the Rockstar 3PL.
Creating a good culture and a nice environment that uses technology, that treats people fair, that just treats employees like family is what we try to implement here at Rockstar.
It has saved us so much time and it’s helped streamline the process of just creating a very positive workflow and a seamless workflow within our warehouse and I’m very grateful that we found CartonCloud, and it's just been working for us ever since.
We do everything from event activations, commercial relocations, warehousing relocations. Essentially, we do anything and everything for whatever our client needs.

When I first started here, everything was very manual. We had Excel spreadsheets, we had Google Docs, pretty much everything was pen and paper. We literally had to go around and count every single pallet that we had. Invoices were getting delayed, they were never getting sent, they were always being questioned, It was just way too manual.
Part of my job was to just come in and try and find something to better that System.
Came across eight different programs that would work. Just try to find a system that was as flexible as we were, essentially, we just came down to the last one, which was CartonCloud.
From two full-time accountants working on the warehousing for two days, now, only one of them works for half a day, and it just made everything so much easier, it’s just quicker, it’s faster, it’s so much more efficient.
Through innovation and technology, we're able to give the client that transparency on their own. They can log in and do their own items, they can see that, they can do their own orders from whichever warehouse. It’s just all streamlined.
I’ve built a really good relationship with CartonCloud, with the people that work there, and who had really helped us out to really establish our warehouse to be that number one warehouse that we have always wanted to be.

We're a 3PL warehousing business our core sectors of food customers.
We do dry goods for supermarkets and other businesses.
We do consumer electronics, we also do quite a bit in the cosmetic sector.
So we specialize in probably 3 to 4 main sectors.
We set out at the start that we want to become a proper 3PL operation.
That was our overall objective.
We started with a fairly well known 3PL software which was US based.
It was generic, it wasn't especially what we wanted.
We also found that dealing with a software vendor not on our normal operating hours wasn't ideal, so the customer service angle wasn't great for us.
At the same time our business was evolving.
So suddenly we had 40 clients and we had supermarkets.
We were basically picking, packing 16 hours a day.
We needed 100% picking accuracy or as close to as we could get it.
So we needed modern technology, modern software for our warehouse staff to use.
So we spent a lot of time looking for products.
And we came across CartonCloud, and it was absolutely the solution in terms of technology and usability for our people in our warehouse that we were looking for.
We used to have people manually inputing sales orders, manually inputing purchase orders and not really being able to keep up.
To be able to have automation, integration with sales orders, electronically, purchase orders, efficiency in picking, we've turned an unprofitable operation into a profitable one.
And we probably had a reduction of four full time equipment in terms of head count.
It's reduced our overhead by as much as 20%, and massively improved our accuracy.
It's been a massive win for us.
What CartonCloud has enabled us to take a business that was losing money and actually turned it into a business that's making money, and is self sufficient, and relatively easy to run.
And we did it and we didn't miss a beat in doing it.
